Welcome

Stitches Expo at Home is the virtual version of our destination shows. Now, all that energy and excitement comes to you at Home.

Never been to Stitches? This is the time! It’s a Maker’s dream—48 classes, 20 extraordinary instructors, a Market, special events, presentations, and other features

First, there are The Stitches Classes. Polish a favorite technique, build your confidence, maybe try something entirely new. We have something for everyone! Choose from knitting, sewing, weaving, and crochet. You will find needle tatting, pin loom, and embroidery classes. Make 3 different types of buttons, weave placemats from your well loved t-shirts, learn to solo-fit a sweater, or create a pair of well-fitting pants.

Each workshop is served up in one or two 2-hour Zoom class sessions. With a limited size, you always have a front-row seat and end each day in your own bed. That’s why we call it Stitches Expo at Home!

Then there is The Stitches Market. You’ve been craving it, and our exhibitors are ready! Each will host individual half-hour spots to show what they’re up to, what they have, and what’s hot. Market access is free to students; Market Tickets are also available for purchase.

There’s even more! Learn more about the Stitches community through special presentations and teacher features. Get to know your fellow crafters and the Stitches staff during the Welcome, Morning Coffees, the Stitch Together on Saturday night, and of course, the Stitches Finale!

When our creative communities go virtual, Stitches Expo at Home is here!

Note: All times listed are Central Daylight Time.

Stephanie BryantOne of the things I love about the Stitches at Home experience, and why I recommend it to other crafters, is that the crew has done such an excellent job of creating the sense of community that is missing in a lot of online events. The morning coffee time, the stitches-together get-togethers, and the show and share times are all great ways to bring people together. Over time, I see many of the same faces in these social gatherings, and that spark of recognition builds that sense of belonging. I don’t feel like I’m just ‘taking a class’. I feel like I’m joining up with my friends.
