We are excited to return to Sacramento for Stitches West. This event offers top-notch education with 23 of the best instructors in the industry, the Stitches Fashion Show, the Stitches Makers’ Showcase, and other fun ways for the community to connect.
The schedule of 87 classes includes a variety of fiber arts. In addition to knitting, crochet, and weaving, you will find sewing, quilting, embroidery, spinning, carding, and more. Options abound!
Stitches West will feature a dazzling Market full of inspiration for fiber artists of all kinds. You will find everything from yarn, fiber, and fabric to notions and tools that will tempt every Maker and make your creative dreams come true.
Sacramento is America’s Farm-to-Fork Capital and the only star on the map of California. The city is buzzing with things to taste, see, and savor. We invite you to pick your pleasure, whether it’s our farm-fresh restaurants, plentiful farmers markets, home-grown breweries, colorful street murals, Gold Rush-era family attractions, or a sunset walk along the river. The recently expanded and renovated SAFE Credit Union Convention Center is a dynamic center for conventions, meetings, and cultural experiences.
We look forward to seeing you in Sacramento!
Keeping You Safe
Our most important priorities are the safety and security of our attendees, teachers, exhibitors, volunteers, and staff.
Classes & Special Events: Due to the time in close proximity to others, proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a medical exemption is required to attend any classes or special events. Masking, unless requested by the teacher, is not required —but is recommended.
Market: Masking is highly recommended but not required in the Stitches Market. Attending the Stitches Market requires proof of vaccination or negative COVID testing.
This is our COVID policy as of 9/10/2022; it will be updated based on any masking or vaccine requirement changes from the city, state, or federal authorities. We will follow all masking requirements based on community transmission.
Access to the dashboard for students and those who purchased market tickets will be available beginning November 30.

Stitches West in Sacramento was great! It was our first show back after COVID, and I was pleasantly surprised. It wasn’t the biggest show Neighborhood Fiber Co.has ever done. But I think it was just right… the balance between the number of vendors and the number of shoppers. The Stitches crew did their jobs. It was a wonderful experience. And we made money at the show.
Round out your Stitches weekend with our Special Events. Join us for one or all of these great events.
Each event requires the purchase of a ticket to attend.
