We strongly believe that it is our responsibility to promote and defend diversity at our shows. We have a zero-tolerance policy toward discrimination, bullying, and hate speech. Among, but not limited to, the conducts that we find unacceptable are bullying, inappropriate physical contact, or any form of physical, verbal, or non-verbal harassment or abuse toward anyone for any reason. As such, we reserve the right to take appropriate actions and/or remove from our shows any person that, in our judgment, fails to adhere to our zero-tolerance discrimination and/or bullying policies.

Stitches West Covid Policy

Our most important priorities are the safety and security of our attendees, teachers, exhibitors, volunteers, and staff. Below we have outlined our COVID policy as of now; it will be updated based on any masking or vaccine requirement changes from the city, state, or federal authorities.  We will follow all masking requirements based on community transmission.

This is our COVID policy as of 9/10/2022; it will be updated based on any masking or vaccine requirement changes from the city, state, or federal authorities.  We will follow all masking requirements based on community transmission.

Stitches West 2023 Classes & Special Events
Due to the time in close proximity to others, proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a medical exemption is required to attend any classes or special events.

Masking, unless requested by the teacher, is not required —but is recommended. If masking is required, it will be noted on the individual class.

Proof of vaccination will be verified at the registration desk before you pick up your Attendee badge. This proof can be a vaccination card or a digital copy showing proof of full COVID vaccination obtained at least two weeks before the event.

For those with a medical exemption, a doctor’s note, a negative COVID test within 72 hours of each day you attend, and masking at all times are required.

Stitches West 2023 Market
Based on current  California Department of Public Health guidelines, masking is highly recommended but not required in the Stitches Market. Attending the Stitches Market requires proof of vaccination or negative COVID testing.

Children too young to receive the COVID vaccine are exempt from providing proof of vaccination and may be exempt from having to take and/or provide a negative COVID test.

Color-coded stickers indicate your level of comfort in interacting with others. Stickers can be obtained at the Registration Desk outside of the Stitches West Market or inside the Market at the Information Desk.

We ask you to look for and respect Social Distance indicators worn by other Market Goers, Stitches Attendees, Volunteers, Exhibitors, Teachers, and Staff.
