Good Morning! And welcome to the first day of Stitches West 2023 and the first edition of the Stitches West Morning Update.
Here is the weather for today…
Classes will be running from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm PST and 1:30 pm – 4:30 pm PST. If you’re interested in seeing which classes may still have spots open, please check out our list of Stitches West 2023 classes here.
Of course, if you’re onsite and you want to check available classes—or if you are registered and want to pick up your badge, today… you can go up the escalators and see our good folx at the Stitches Registration Desk. The Stitches Registration Desk will be open from 8:00 am – 7:00 pm PST.
Tonight will be the Stitches West 2023 Market Preview—from 5:00 pm-8:00 pm PST. Tickets for this preview can be purchased for $15 onsite or online here.

Because of the weather and some other issues, we’ve had some exhibitors that are listed in the show book that could not be here at this show. Here are those exhibitors… Lisa Souza Knitwear and Dyeworks, Stunning String Studio, LickinFlames, Front Range Bags, and Black Diamond Creations.
Because of that, we’ve had a few of our exhibitors that have changed booths on the Market floor (not as shown on the Stitches West 2023 Market Map in the show book). Here are those exhibitors and new booth numbers…
- Ragged Thistle moved to booths 401, 403, and 502
- Sacred Laughter moved to booth 500
- Pam Powers moved to booths 209 and 310
- Loop Fiber moved to booths 605, 607, 609, and 611
And because I’m very interested (and some of you might be), here is what Rick Mondragon will be wearing today. Robert Graham shirt, Land’s End herringbone jacket, hand-knit striped sweater, gray flannel slacks, silver dragon necklace, turquoise bracelet, silver moccasin drivers.
We’ll be covering Rick’s wardrobe every morning throughout the show.
