We will go from basic to intricate in learning the technique and applying it in different fashions. From miters, to zig zag to yarn selection and yarn creation for perfect Tunisian and application of colors and textures on top of Tunisian Fabric.
Explore the basic structure of crepe and cabled yarns, then design and spin layered yarns by mixing and matching different ply techniques.
Cal will show you 2 different ways to patch a hole in woven garments: Overlay and Reverse Applique, various stitches that work for each method, and when to use them. Then we will mend a hole in a knitted/crocheted garment with traditional darning.
