Description
Brioche stitch and intarsia colorwork are best friends. In fact, it’s easier to do intarsia with 2-color brioche than it is with stockinette or garter stitch! In this class, we’ll review 2-color brioche stitch, then cast on a flat swatch. Using a combination of shaping and intarsia, we’ll knit a wavy color swatch. All brioche increase and decrease methods will be explained and demonstrated.
In the second half of class, we’ll learn how to modify our swatches, how to work in the round, and how to add intarsia elements to existing brioche patterns.
Special skills or knowledge needed to take this class:
Must be able to work 2-color brioche stitch.
