Description
Add color to miters for a stash-busting project, lace for an airy shawl, texture for depth or a combination of all three. Jill shares her approach.
We will discuss re-sizing squares within a project, different ways of picking up stitches, turning the square to change the look of a project, what effects adding color and lace will have, using multiple-sized squares, and ways of building squares upon one another.
Special skills or knowledge needed to take this class:
Previous mitered-square experience is necessary.
Supply List
• 2 colors worsted-weight yarn
• US 7 or 8 (4.5 or 5mm) needles
• Knitting Basics: Sharp scissors, Notebook, Pen or pencil with eraser, Stitch markers, Tapestry needles (large and small), Tape measure, Small calculator, Needles and crochet hooks of various sizes
Limited pre-class work required.
