Make beautiful Yorkshire buttons on a circular loom.

Description
Learn how to make basic, yet beautiful hand stitched Yorkshire Buttons. We will use a purpose made circular loom and perle cotton or fingering weight yarn to make lovely soft stuffed, functional buttons. Add them to a garment or on any embroidered project to add dimension and interest.
We will be making two sizes of buttons in class, gaining experience with a 60 mm loom before making a smaller button on a 40mm loom.
An $8 kit is required and will be collected in class. Correct change is appreciated.
Kit contains: two different sized looms and darning needles.
Optional 3 and 5 Wt. perle cotton threads will be available for $4 per Skein.
Supply List
• $8 Kit purchase containing looms and needle is required.
• 5 yards fingering weight yarn or 3 wt. perle cotton, for each larger button,
• 5 yards lace weight yarn or 5 wt. perle cotton, for each smaller one
• Small amount polyester stuffing or similar
