Description
Hand-dyed yarns that can pool (creating large patches of color) can be challenging to work with, but by understanding how yarn behaves when knit and choosing the right pattern or stitch count, you can create amazing effects! This class will give you the basic skills to read your hand-dyed yarns and choose the right patterns to take advantage of their individual characteristics, bringing out their true beauty.
We will practice two types of intentional pooling including assigned pooling and color stacks. We will also learn how to trouble-shoot pooling projects including working with tension control, stitch adjustments, and more.
