This is T-shirt dressing at its best because you pick your fabric, your fit, and your favorite length. The options are varied — short, 3/4-length sleeves, or sleeveless; relaxed waist or empire shaping; shortened top or lengthened for a maxi-dress — and make this versatile pattern a wardrobe must. Imagine the possibilities!
Class sessions will be recorded and remain accessible online to registered students of the class for 4 weeks following the event.
Designed for jersey/tricot knits, Anna features two front bodice options — one with a bust dart for D-cup and larger bust sizes and a dart-less version for C-cup or smaller bust sizes. We’ll use your body measurements to pick out the best size, then Jennifer will show you how to customize the pieces for the best fit. (sizes range from 36-52″)
A basic machine is really all that you need; no stretch stitches are necessary. Jenn gives tips and tricks to get great results sewing knit fabric with either your sewing machine or serger, including an easy technique for finishing a V-Neckline. If you prefer to hand-stitch your knits, that’s ok, too. Whatever way you sew it, the Anna Dress is sure to be a go-to year-round favorite, whether you make 1, 2, or 3!
