This workshop offers a comprehensive exposure to applique and all its many wonderful techniques. We will focus on many methods including needleturn applique, prepared-edge applique, template applique, straight-line applique, and reverse qpplique. We’ll also practice making easy-peasy stems and circles.

Try Irene’s short cuts for preparing your work using a lightbox for layouts and other techniques which eliminate any tedium and make your blocks portable.

Knowing the several ways to stitch shapes onto your piece, and especially which to use when, can remove any apprehension you might feel about your ability to enjoy making beautiful applique quilts.
