Fall in love with kid mohair! By itself it is light, airy, insulating and breathable, does not wrinkle, and is the ideal fiber for travel. Combined with other yarn, mohair changes the colors, creates beautiful motifs, adds softness, and lowers the fabric density. Explore the combinations and learn Molly’s tips for tinking, frogging, and fixing mistakes in mohair.

Mohair is pure magic! When you pair it with another yarn – yowza! It can lighten the overall fabric weight as it allows you to work on bigger needles and cleverly create more depth and texture. Although there are a few challenges working with this light, fluffy yarn, Molly will show you how we can solve and work around  them!

We will talk about the origin of mohair and its properties. The class kit assures that your samples will illustrate the impact of color and weight. The picture shows one colorway of yarn knit with many colors of mohair influences the look. Please note that the kit will contain different colors and different yarns.

We will also talk about best ways to knit with mohair, frog and tink mohair, and fix mistakes in mohair.
