Let’s get cozy! Join this fun class and Jenn will guide you through making knit pants using The Easy Fit & Sew Yoga Pants Pattern. Make custom-fit yoga pants, leggings, or tights on your sewing machine or serger.

In this 2-part class, there’s time for Jenn to teach you how to make an entire wardrobe of knit pants using The Easy Fit & Sew Yoga Pants Pattern. You can make a pair of custom yoga pants, and also adjust the leg for leggings or tights. Whichever style you choose, learn how to make simple fit adjustments so the custom waistband sits where it’s comfortable and the hem is just the right length.

After cutting out the pieces using the adjusted pattern pieces, see how to construct your pants, step-by-step, with either a sewing machine or serger..

But wait, there’s more! If you’re always cold in the winter, try lining your leggings to make them extra cozy.

We’ll finish up by creating the custom waistband and hemming the legs or adding cuffs. You’ll leave class with your new favorite go-to on cold winter days!

Supply List
• 4-way stretch knit fabric (See pre-class work for more information)
• If you want to make tights, you need 1/2 yard of 4-way stretch spandex for the top portion of the tights and 1 – 1 1/4 yards of mesh knit for the legs. A good source for spandex and mesh & stretch velvet is https://www.spandexhouse.com/
• Thread to match the fabric (4 spools of thread for your serger OR 1 spool of all purpose thread for your sewing machine)
• Stretch Needles
• Tracing Paper
• Clear 18” grid ruler (2” x 18”)
• Scotch Tape
• Pencil and colored pencils or highlighter
