Description
Double-knitting is a unique method of making a fabric with no ‘wrong’ side. Significantly different from the standard intarsia and Fair Isle methods of colorwork, double-knitting makes a pattern on both sides of the fabric with the colors inverted. You’ll learn 2-color cast-on for double-knitting, get comfortable with the techniques involved, then move into following a chart and creating a motif with the double-knit technique.
For an all-double-knitting weekend, follow this class with Jill’s Saturday or Sunday classes, Technicolor Double Knitting or Double Pattern Double Knitting!
