Description

Short rows give us the ability to turn a sock heel, raise the back of a sweater neck, or allow extra room in the bust. Short rows can also be a fun and interesting design element when we play with color in a design.

In this class, you will practice five different methods for creating short rows — wrap and turn, Japanese, German, shadow wrap (or twin stitch), and wrapless short rows. We’ll discuss the benefits of each and also talk about how to substitute one for another.

Excellent class

Amy Snell covered 4 types of short row technique with confidence and efficiency. She was patient with and affirming of the participants. I thought her virtual presence and presentations were easy to follow and understand. The handout proved to be well written. I am pleased I took the class with Amy..
