Brioche stitch and intarsia colorwork are best friends. In fact, it’s easier to do intarsia with 2-color brioche than it is with stockinette or garter stitch! In this class, we’ll review 2-color brioche stitch, then cast on a flat swatch. Using a combination of shaping and intarsia, students will knit a wavy color swatch. All brioche increase and decrease methods will be explained and demonstrated in class.
In the second half of class, students will learn how to modify their swatch, how to work in the round, and how to add intarsia elements to existing brioche patterns.
