Description
Color blending can elevate your weaving and stretch your materials. Much like painting, you’ll be be able to create different colors by blending the ones you have. You’ll learn more advanced hatching methods and using shapes to blend your colors. Join Kennita and open up your possibilities and expand your color reaches.
Special skills or knowledge needed to take this class
Must have basic weaving knowledge and skills or have taken Tapestry 101.
A $25 kit is required and will be collected for in class.
Kit includes various yarns suitable for color blending
Supply list
• Kit
• Tape measure
• Sharpie
• Scissors
• Tapestry needle
Required equipment
• Loom warped at 8EPI, can be a frame loom as seen in Tapestry 101 class photos, a peg or notched (tapestry) loom, or a rigid-heddle loom.
• Tapestry beater (plastic hair pick will do)
Optional:
• Any weaving accessories such as weaving needles or shed sticks if normally used
