Description
A crochet hook can be as useful for your knitted projects as a darning needle is. Though nothing fancy, it’s invaluable. Lisa will share the many ways it can work. We’ll learn the basic skills and then brainstorm dozens of additional applications.
Special skills or knowledge needed to take this class
This class is rated “Easy” for knitting skills: you should be comfortable casting on, knitting, purling, and binding off. Absolutely no crochet experience is necessary.
Supply list
• Two crochet hooks, one smaller (US E, F, or G) and one larger (US H or I).
• Worsted-weight wool or wool-like yarn in a color different from your homework swatches.
• Knitting Basics: Sharp scissors, Notebook, Pen or pencil with eraser, Stitch markers, Tapestry needles (large and small), Tape measure, Small calculator, Needles and crochet hooks of various sizes
