Being able to control the color you dye and to repeat it is a must-have skill for serious dyers.
If you have some experience dyeing yarn with acid dyes and want more predictable results, Yoriko can help: that is her day job. (The method used in this class also applies to Procion MX – the dye for cellulose fibers. But the samples and demos in this class all use acid dyes.)
In this lecture-demo class, Yoriko will show you how to mix dye solutions, combine them to achieve your desired colors, and repeat the results in the future.
Special skills or knowledge needed to take this class
Basic knowledge of dyeing with acid dyes.
