So, you want to knit a toy! Where do you start? Learn all about the process of designing and creating your very own knitted toy in this comprehensive class that covers the toy design process from sketch to snuggle!

Description
This class will provide a general overview of how to go about designing a knitted toy. We’ll be reviewing basic design concepts, the planning process, material selection, pattern writing, and construction tips and techniques. Students will also receive a comprehensive e-book with an overview of the toy design process which will include basic knitted patterns for common shapes used in soft toy construction as well as a variety of assembly and finishing techniques.
Special skills or knowledge needed to take this class
Students should know how to knit and how to read a pattern.
Supply list
• Sketch book or a pad of paper and a pencil
• Knitting supplies are welcome if you would like to actively try out any techniques we will be going over during class
