Learning something I'd wanted to know.

I enjoyed the class, learning how to replicate some of the shapes I've seen in tapestry rugs and other things for a long time. One thing to know is that the vocabulary is different from other fiber arts, so if you are collecting your own supplies, the "twine" is more like crochet cotton or fingering/sport weight cord. I made a mistake in obtaining supplies and paid for it in a poor result (shown in photo, but you can see I was getting the hang of some basic patterns), but since have re-warped with a different item and really feel that I understand how to make something useable. Learning the basics of how to create a cartoon and stitch to match is fascinating.
