Typically associated with knitting, intarsia can be worked using Tunisian crochet — and it is easier than knitted intarsia! You can even work it with a variety of stitch patterns. In this class you will learn the technique, along with some special refinements in order to make a swatch featuring a simple charted image of your choosing (options provided). Related topics such as duplicate stitch and how/when to incorporate Fair Isle (stranding) will be discussed. Dreams of stitching from your own drawings or completing the complex graphs of superstars like designer Kaffe Fassett will soon become a reality!
