Description

The Top-down construction also lets you finesse the garment where it makes the most difference — neck, yoke, and raglan increases.

We’ll take measurements and do the easy math. Learn how to incorporate different stitches. Try out different kinds of decorative increases. Chart out the shaping to keep track of where we are at all times. Ensure a perfect fit every time.

Come away with a miniature sample or two to whet your appetite. Get started on the life-sized yoke between sessions. Bonuses include little tricks and details about: casting on in the middle of the work, closing up gaps when separating stitches, and lowering the front necks.

Special skills or knowledge needed to take this workshop:
Have made garments before. Have basic working knowledge of converting measurements into stitches and rows using gauge OR of drafting standard patterns. Comfortable with basic stitch charts.
