Learn how to make bias strips and panels then use them to build fabrics and projects. Whether you knit or crochet (or both!), Lily will guide you through the concept, technique, shaping and construction.
Bias knit or crocheted pieces are not straight-forward in concept or result! They require non-standard shaping to achieve their head-turning results.
Learn to place angles in your fabric for unexpected, dynamic, directional lines perfect for color and texture. Lily will offer mix-and-match ideas to create several effects simultaneously. Ideas for trims, accents, and even whole garments will be discussed. Go from easy panels to larger projects. You head will be spinning with new ideas, all without a pattern.
Students can choose to knit, crochet or both!
