Students will begin by studying Japanese design (past and present) and then move on to develop several garments for themselves using their personal body proportions. They will build a mini mood board, and create three garments/patterns with a rectangular foundation. Then, they will learn how to add to this foundation through use of space-planning, additional details, creative fabric/knit decisions, and more.
