Crochet cables can be so powerful and add dimension to any project, but not all cables make the right fabric for every project. From barely 3-D to very 3-D, Robyn guides you through the techniques and how they combine with different yarns to create the cable that is right.
Learn some of the many ways you can create crochet cables. Starting with the traditional method of post stitches and crossing stitches, you will learn how to make them with a clean backside/base fabric and learn how to place them into garments.
You will then move to slip-stitch and Interlocking-loop cables. These are perfect for fabrics where you want the look but not the 3-D nature of traditional cables.
Lastly you will learn how to make cables with short rows for eye-popping ruffles that are fabulous for really stand-out projects. Throughout the class, we will chat about yarn and fiber choices that will make your cabled fabrics even more fabulous!
