A virtual class with Cynthia Dorrough
June 18, 10:00am-12:00pm CDT
June 19, 10:00am-12:00pm & 2:00am-4:00pm CDT
Corner to Corner (C2C) Crochet is an intriguing fabric construction for many projects. The stitch pattern is worked on the diagonal, beginning with one corner square and then building in stair-step fashion to the full size of the desired height and width.
Class sessions will be recorded and remain accessible online to registered students of the class for 14 days following the event.
You will learn how to work those blocks at the edges to build square or rectangular fabrics and how to change colors for motifs or stripes. Think of each square as a pixel in the full expanse of the fabric.
Charting reading and making is simple. Cynthia will show you classic uses of C2C and more modern approaches; she will show different C2C projects and how to plan your own with easy charts. Students will have the opportunity to practice with a simple, small C2C class project.
