Well-fitting pants or comfortable pants? Join Jennifer to get the best of both! And since all bodies are unique, this workshop has a valuable bonus: a private, one-on-one zoom fitting session where Jennifer focuses on your fitting concerns.
Class sessions will be recorded and remain accessible online to registered students of this class for 7 days following the event.
Yes, we all want comfortable pants that fit. Jennifer shows you how to evaluate your shape, pick a pattern, and adjust it for a custom fit. Instead of working with one pattern, there are 3 different slopers to accommodate your body.
Session 1: You’ll choose the sloper that works best for your figure and adjust it to do the job. Then you will take the altered pattern pieces and sew a fit muslin. During the week — after the first session — you may schedule a private one-on-one zoom fitting so Jennifer can focus on and assist with your unique fitting needs.
Sessions 2 and 3: Learn to fine-tune the fit of your muslin and prepare your pattern pieces so you’re ready to cut and sew your fashion fabric once class is complete.
Jennifer is dedicated to help you with a comfortable fit and will be available with additional support after class.
There is a $52 kit fee which includes overnight shipping will be added to your order. Orders for kits must be placed by Thursday March 11 by 3pm CST. The kit will contain Happy Pants Pattern, Instructions, and Pants Fit Workbook. The Happy Pants Pattern includes three different pant slopers designed to fit based on where your fullest hip at CB is (High, Average or Low).
