And that you can incorporate colorwork and texture if you are willing to weave in a few more yarn tails? Continuous crochet makes all this possible. It’s join-as-you-go taken to a whole new level! Once you learn the techniques for continuous crochet, you’ll be wondering where this has been all your life. We’ll start with reviewing symbol charts and some join-as-you-go basics, then move on to simple continuous motif techniques. After some practice, you’ll be ready to plan your own projects and tackle more adventurous patterns.
Special skills or knowledge needed to take this workshop:
Mastery of basic crochet stitches is required. Familiarity with crochet symbol charts and join-as-you-go techniques are strongly suggested.
__3-4 colors classic fingering-, dk-, or worsted-weight yarn (all the same weight). Choose coordinating solid colors that work well together. Avoid color-changing, variegated yarns or dark colors.
__Crochet hook(s) in size appropriate for your yarn
__Crochet Basics: Sharp scissors, Notebook, Pen or pencil with eraser, Stitch markers, Tapestry needles (large and small), Tape measure, Small calculator, Crochet hooks of various sizes
