Class sessions will be recorded and remain accessible online to registered students of the class for 14 days following the event.

Description
In this workshop, you’ll learn to create Latvian braids—distinctive twisted bands of stitches—and multiple variations: braids with long floats, clumps of braids, multiple-color braids, and dense layers of braids. You’ll leave the workshop with a host of techniques and inspiration for braiding!
Special skills or knowledge needed to take this class:
Students must know how to work in the round using a circular needle and be comfortable with simple stranded knitting (working with two colors per round).
Supply List
• Have at least 90 yards each of 5 colors of worsted weight yarn for a five-color or six-color cowl—no need to choose in advance of class! Feel free to use stash and mix and match bases.
• US 7 (4.5mm) 24-inch circular needle
Knitting Basics: Sharp scissors, Notebook, Pen or pencil with eraser, Stitch markers, Tapestry needles (large and small), Tape measure, Small calculator, Needles and crochet hooks of various sizes
