When you don’t understand why hand-dyed yarns can pool, knitting with them is often a challenge. First, learn to read those yarns, then apply a few basic techniques, and those concentrated areas of color become intentional.
Class sessions will be recorded and remain accessible online to registered students of the class for 14 days following the event.

Pooling is a concentration of colors in patches— and often in places where you don’t want them. Caroline will show you how to read your yarn and choose the right patterns to take advantage of the yarn’s characteristics and bring out it’s true beauty.
We will practice basic types of intentional pooling, and learn about how to troubleshoot pooling projects through tension control, stitch adjustments, and more.
Special skills or knowledge needed to take this class:
Must have basic knitting skills, and access to multiple needle sizes.
