With Natasja Hornby
Aug 8, 10:00am-12:00pm CDT
There’s so much more to mosaic knitting than garter stitch! Explore this fun and easy technique by combining stitch patterns within the mosaic, then learn to pair mosaic knitting with other textured-stitch patterns.
Class sessions will be recorded and remain accessible online to registered students of the class for 14 days following the event.
There is much more to mosaic knitting than garter stitch, or even garter and stockinette!
We will briefly cover the basics, like chart-reading and choosing colors for a project that involves mosaic knitting. Then we will swatch more intricate mosaics and learn how these patterns can be combined with other textured-stitch patterns. Natasja uses this combination of color and texture in her Moonstruck Knit designs.
After a few swatches, you will feel confident to tackle any pattern that uses mosaic knitting!
