Clothing with side and center panels – also known as princess seams — are always popular for their great looks and comfortable fit. Adjusting those seams can be intimidating and tricky for the home sewist! Thankfully there is a logical, methodical system for adjusting the fit in a princess seam.
Using a simple set of measurements you can make the pattern adjustments needed for clothes you’ll love wearing. Palmer/Pletsch-certified fit instructor Katrina will guide you through the process as you practice the alterations hands-on so you are ready for your next sewing project. This class is a perfect follow-up to Correcting Common Fit Challenges: Darted Shirts/Bodices .
