Designing and Charting Your Own Original Cables
With Lily Chin
Aug 7, 4:00-6:00pm CDT
If you have knit cables before and want to make, modify, or design cable patterns, even more intricate ones, this is your chance! Learn how to use Lily’s charting method to come up with your own original cable designs.
Class sessions will be recorded and remain accessible online to registered students of the class for 14 days following the event.
Lily’s method of charting cable patterns is quick, easy, and helps you focus on the essentials: how the cable patterns are actually formed—the basic manipulations. With a better understanding of how cable patterns work, you can follow the directions more easily and with fewer mistakes. You can look at a cable and see how to work it with no written or traditionally-charted instructions. From there to modifying existing patterns or planning your own is just one short step.
