Welcome to the world of inventive twists on colorwork! We’ll learn both the right- and left-leaning Latvian braids, Vikkel braids, corrugated rib, and a few other tricks that will bring life and zest to your colorwork projects.
Special skills or knowledge needed to take this class
Students should have a little experience with some kind of colorwork (mosaic or slip stitch would suffice) and be comfortable working a small-circumference project in the round.
_ Approximately 30 yards each of a dark- and a light-colored worsted-weight yarn
_ Needles suitable for working a small-circumference project in the round and in a size appropriate to the yarn (dpns, magic loop, or two circulars)
_ Knitting Basics: Sharp scissors, Notebook, Pen or pencil with eraser, Stitch markers, Tapestry needles (large and small), Tape measure, Small calculator,
