Class sessions will be recorded and remain accessible online to registered students of the class for 14 days following the event.
In this class, students will learn how to adapt and modify lace stitches. Join André and explore:
– The structure of lace stitches
– The importance of increase and decrease placement
– Modifying lace stitches while maintaining the previous structure
– Changing the size of a lace pattern
The second session allows time for you to apply what you have learned using 2 lace charts that you choose from a stitch dictionary.
Special skills or knowledge needed to take this class:
Previous experience in lace knitting and how to read lace knitting charts.
__50g fingering-weight yarn
__US 5 or 6/ 3.75 or 4mm needles
__Knitting Basics: Sharp scissors, Notebook, Pen or pencil with eraser, Stitch markers, Tapestry needles (large and small), Tape measure, Small calculator, Needles and crochet hooks of various sizes
