Class sessions will be recorded and remain accessible online to registered students of the class for 14 days following the event.

Description

Let’s make a functional bowl or table runner to match your own individual style! Use clothes line and fabric to make a beautiful bowl or a fabulous table runner on your sewing machine. Choose your project and start with the basic technique, then stitch away. You will end our time together with all the skills necessary to complete your project and start your next one.

Supply List
__Sewing Machine in good working order with open toed applique foot; spare bobbins; instruction manual; 90 topstitch needle; please have any available free hand system (knee lift) and add on table/surround ready to use;
__One yard or equivalent in pieces of solid, batik or hand dyed fabric (table runner will need more fabric, depending on size, possibly 3 yards)
__Sewing machine thread to blend (table runner will need more fabric, depending on size, 3 yards?)
__100 feet 3/16” cotton clothesline (might be “reinforced” or 100% cotton, ask at your local quilt shop) A table runner can need a total of 300 feet or more.
__Clothes pin/mini binder clip/small wonder clip
__Stiletto
__scissors

For table runner:
__Blue painters’ tape
__Sharpie pen
__Cutting mat
__ 24” x 6” ruler
__rotary cutter

Fun project for leftovers

I enjoyed the class on fabric bowls. Great way to use up fabric and just enough creativity to make it fun! The instructor was organized and had lots of examples. I was able to follow along quite easily. Enjoyed the class.

The teacher was teaching to all students and questions were allowed. I am stilling making my bowl and having a lot of fun
