Customizing Mitered Squares

This class will expand your knowledge of mitered squares. Explore the options: color, stitch pattern, multiple-sized squares, ways to build with the squares, and much more.

This class will expand your knowledge of mitered squares. Add color for a stash-busting project, lace for an airy shawl, texture for depth or a combination of all three.

We will discuss re-sizing squares within a project, different ways of picking up stitches, turning the square to change the look of a project, what effects adding color and lace will have, using multiple-sized squares, and ways of building squares upon one another.

Special skills or knowledge needed to take this class:
Previous Mitered-Square experience is necessary.

__2 colors worsted weight yarn
__US 7 or 8 needles
__Knitting Basics: Sharp scissors, Notebook, Pen or pencil with eraser, Stitch markers, Tapestry needles (large and small), Tape measure, Small calculator, Needles and crochet hooks of various sizes
