Join André to explore another European knitting tradition: Estonian Lace. You’ll learn to construct a traditional mini Estonian Lace triangular shawl, using traditional Estonian stitches.
Class sessions will be recorded and remain accessible online to registered students of the class for 7 days following the event.

In this class, students will construct a mini version of the traditional Estonian Lace triangular shawl in traditional Estonian stitches, learning:
– How to get the correct shape
– The importance of increase and decrease placement.
– Traditional lace stitches (nupps, etc…)
– How to work an attached border
Special skills or knowledge needed to take this class:
Previous experience in lace knitting and how to read lace knitting charts.
__A circular needle 4 mm / US 6 , 24 inches/60cm long
__50 g fingering-weight yarn, preferably wool with a good twist (no singles, please…)
