Easy Fit & Sew Raglan Sleeve Top
With Jennifer Stern
Jan 7, 4:00-6:00pm and Jan 8, 4:00-6:00pm CST
Sew a raglan sleeve top from knit fabric. If you are not a fan of sewing a sleeve into an armhole, this is the perfect project for you! Instead of fitting a sleeve cap into a round armhole, the raglan sleeve has gently curved seams that fit together easily and are a breeze to sew.
Class sessions will be recorded and remain accessible online to registered students of the class for 14 days following the event.
We’ll start by taking some body measurements and comparing them to the pattern. Jenn will share easy fit adjustments to achieve your perfect fit. Play with two different colored knits for a classic color blocked look, or work with a single color. Jenn will show you how to finish the neckline and hem with a knit band. Bonus, learn how to make an easy cuff finish for the sleeves that double as mittens or a kangaroo pocket to keep your hands warm on your next cool weather walk
