As a dyer, Yoriko’s mission is to help you create projects you are proud of. And as we know, color plays a huge part in your projects. See how to identify your color preferences (if you don’t already know!) and build a palette for a specific project and/or your entire stash, using the color wheel and modern color theory. This practice will also empower you to use up leftover yarns from your past projects.

At the end of the class, you should be able to choose colors for your next project with more confidence — and less swatching.

Come to play with colors!

Better understanding of why colors work together or don't

Even though I thought I knew intuitively how to put colors together, this class gave me language to better describe colors in terms of hue and value and how to put together harmonious color schemes. It also gives good techniques for determining if colors will be effective in colorwork knitting. I think I'll be more adventurous and confident mixing colors after this class.
