This class will cover three areas that are crucial to creating a finished project that you’ll enjoy and wear for many years. Understanding fibers and how they are blended and made into yarn lets you choose a yarn that will have the right feel and behavior for a project. Yarn construction is key to a garment’s shape and drape, and shows off stitches as they are meant to be. Color in a world of hand-dyed yarns has become increasingly complex but a knowledge of fiber content and how yarn is made; combined with some simple principles about how yarn is dyed, will allow you to choose just the right yarn for your project. Together these three elements will add to your enjoyment and produce the garments of your dreams!
