From the cover of Knitter’s 125, Winter 2016 and into your wardrobe. This knit looks like a complicated undulating stripe pattern but is really the result of short rows repeating along the scarf length.

Class sessions will be recorded and remain accessible online to registered students of the class for 4 weeks following the event.

Learn how to knit German short-rows and practice stacking them in pattern for this wavy striped scarf. The stacked-diamond pattern is thanks to a long-repeat yarn.

We will start our mini version with a crochet cast-on (easy for lefties and righties), then work multiple T&DS (turn and double stitch) short rows! By picking a long-repeat yarn, you can knit stripes with little effort and arrive at the stacked-diamond pattern.
