With Connie Peng
Oct 8, 1:00-3:00pm CDT
Learn all you need to know to knit stranded colorwork.
Class sessions will be recorded and remain accessible online to registered students of the class for 14 days following the event.
Whether you’re new to colorwork or have knit a simple accessory with colorwork and are ready for more, this class will help you get started with some fundamental understandings and techniques.
We will start with the basics such as holding the yarns, reading charts, choosing patterns. We will then cover other factors that go into the making of a successful colorwork knit such as color choice, yarn dominance, even tension, and managing long floats. Then we will apply all these elements as we knit 2-color charts in class.
