Crazyshot! Creative Overshot Weaving on the Rigid Heddle Loom is a surprisingly simple technique for anyone with basic rigid-heddle-loom skills. Learn how to add multiple patterns to your basic weave — using just 1 heddle and 1 pickup stick.

Take your weaving to another level! Crazyshot introduces anyone who uses a rigid heddle loom to a new world of creative weaving. Explore color, design, and texture — even revisit your favorite fair isle and needlework charts.
You’ll earn this single-heddle overshot technique including how to read charts together with Myra’s tips and tricks for successful and satisfying results. All you need to start your next weaving adventure are basic skills in warping and weaving.
Special skills or knowledge needed to take this class:
Must be able to warp and plain weave on a rigid heddle loom.
• 10″ or larger rigid heddle loom
• 1 pick-up stick
• 1 size 7.5 or 8 heddle
• 50 yds black size 3 cotton yarn or black rug warp
• 50 yds sport-weight wool or wool blend black yarn
• 5 yds. each of 4 or 5 smooth, worsted-weight wool or wool blend yarn in any light or bright contrasting color
• Tapestry needle
• Small scissors
• Clipboard and post-it notes or magnetic ruler.
