Crisscrossing the Rainbow: Color Cables

Price includes 2 hours of class.

A virtual class with Harry Wells

Sept 11, 5:00–7:00pm CDT

One can spend a knitting life-time exploring the various lovely twists and turns that make up regular cable combinations. Now add color to that mix! Harry will help you navigate the twists and turns for your own colorful cabled fabrics.

Class sessions will be recorded and remain accessible online to registered students of the class for 4 weeks following the event.

There are various types of color cables — one-color cables on contrasting background, bicolor cables, pinstripe cables, different colors within more complex cable structures.

Harry will help you navigate their twists and turns and show you how to convert a cable chart into a color cable schematic using graph paper and/or a charting program.

Bring your colored pencils for some creative, colorful fun and then swatch/knit up your creation.
