Sept 11, 10:00am-12:00pm CDT
Crochet Granny Squares are so versatile! They can be used for many projects. Learn Rama’s very polished process for joining them as you construct this very useful bag.
Class sessions will be recorded and remain accessible online to registered students of the class for 4 weeks following the event.
Using 17 pre-made solid Granny Squares (pre-class work), Ramalakshmi will teach you the joining techniques to create a bag using a special technique (zig-zag surface slip-stitch). You will also learn how to create the built-in handles, working them as you go for a clean finish and to avoid using hardware. This makes it easy to launder your project in the machine.
Tips and tricks on how to create the non-stretchy crocheted handles will be shared. Different project possibilities using Granny Squares will also be discussed.
