Description

You’ll learn how integrated I-cord makes your life easier when it comes to striping colors and weaving in ends.

We’ll start with a clever, provisional cast-on that becomes an I-cord cast-on, then cover a simple trick that prevents that first knitted row from becoming too large. You’ll see how to pick up the provisional stitches and turn them into a perfectly integrated I-cord edge. Amy will also show how to knit I-cord selvages as you go, how to turn I-cord corners, and how to bind off and join with a seamlessly integrated I-cord.

Special skills or knowledge needed to take this class:
Students should be able to cast on, bind off, knit, purl, work in the round, and slip stitches.
