Hand stitch a small, fully lined, zippered notions pouch. It is perfect for holding all of your essentials — sewing, knitting, or . . .
Class sessions will be recorded and remain accessible online to registered students of the class for 4 weeks following the event.
This perfect-sized, hand-stitched notions pouch comes in your choice of two classic silhouettes. Overcome zipper-insertion fears and learn the basic hand sewing skills that can be applied to any other hand sewing project.
These pouches require a small amount of fabric, so you can dig through your stash and use up remnants from other projects. Add a few running stitches or other embroidery stitches to create additional charm and texture. The entire project is hand-sewn.
Special skills or knowledge needed to take this class:
Very basic hand sewing skills needed — simple running and back stitch.
Note: If you need to purchase fabric, the requirements are based on 44” wide fabric. You should be able to make several with just this amount. Recommended fabrics: medium-weight linen or linen blend, quilting cotton, or lightweight canvas.
