Description
Are you tired of trying to figure out how to sew in a set-in sleeve? Have you ever tried to design one from scratch? Those bell curves and ratios can drive you nutty! Learn how to design an armhole to fit YOUR body, then pick up and knit a perfect set-in sleeve from the top down with very little math, and no unsightly seams! Armhole shaping variations, alternative stitch patterns, and sleeve decrease calculations will also be discussed.
Special skills or knowledge needed to take this class:
Student must be comfortable knitting and purling.
Supply List
• 50 gm smooth, light-colored, worsted-weight yarn
• US 7 (4.5mm) straight or circular needles
• G/4.25 mm or H/5 mm crochet hook
• 3 stitch markers
• Stitch holders
• Safety pins
• Knitting Basics: Sharp scissors, Notebook, Pen or pencil with eraser, Stitch markers, Tapestry needles (large and small), Tape measure, Small calculator, Needles and crochet hooks of various sizes
